The Early Years

"The Early Years" started in High school, 1996 to be exact. Davone and I met while attending Fayetteville High school in Fayetteville Arkansas. I first noticed Davone in the cafeteria at school. I actually asked him for his phone number for my friend. Eventually things didn't work out for them and Davone and I gave it a shot. He was such an awesome boyfriend! He would always write poetry and bring me flowers. He would roller blade or ride his bike to my house ( pre-car days ) then throw pebbles at my bedroom window until I woke up. We attended prom and by all accounts were high school sweethearts. Our family started out earlier then most. By the time I graduated in May of 1997 I was 2 months pregnant. Things haven't always been easy or right but all of our struggles is what makes the Valentins strong! So as you get to know us and learn more about us you grow to love us, promise!
